My statement had absolutely nothing to do with his performance this season but his performance during his cup career overall. In fact had you asked me where he finished the first two weeks of this season I honestly wouldn’t have had a clue other than knowing it wasn’t top 5.
And to be clear it’s not that I think he’s a bad driver I just think ppl hype him up to be a top 5 or 10 guy in the cup series and I’m not sure he is.

The Willy T Ribbs documentary, Uppity, does a good job at giving some insight to Jack Rousch. Not in a bad way but this statment fits the way he was described and portrayed perfectly.
