It's crazy how things go. Takes Sr 20 years to win one, took Jr 5 years but arguably had the best car from 2001 to 2004. Denny comes in as a strong restrictor plate driver but doesn't win until 2016, then wins 3 in 5 years and leads tonight. Junior didn't have the Hamlin luck of the last 5 years.

They’d prolly just figure out another way to do it but I wish NASCAR would’ve figured out an aero trick to make this single file high line racing less effective after these last few years

I'm hoping Harvick or McMurray pull this off. I'm afraid Hamlin will do it, or Kyle gets aggressive trying to finally win it.

People justify the single file thing by saying they are just trying to avoid wrecking so that they’re there at the end. Yet, somehow, in the peak plate racing era of the early and mid 2000s, they didn’t run single file much and a lot of cars were still left at the end of the race.

Starting to think Harvick will win. Hamlin is the dominant car, but there are enough real threats in that top ten that I believe whoever is in 2nd/in that 2nd row will have a huge advantage to make a move work coming off turn 4.
