They won't get it through their thick fricking skulls that more downforce equals shittier racing.
I've been saying this for years. Bring them up to factory ride heights and give them hp back. They will have throttle control back and actually have to drive the cars again.

But some claim Phelps is making all the right moves.
Do you want that boob Brian France back?
B/c I sure as hell don't. Neither do you or anyone else.
Phelps has got a hell of a lot more right then wrong. And really, you need to look at the competition director more than Phelps.

Who is the comp directors boss?

Yep. It's not rocket science.
Raise them up, smaller rear spoiler, harder tires and unlimited horsepower.
I'd like to see them go back to bias ply tires as well. Have said this for years and apparently Smoke agrees as that is what SRX races on.

Should be Dale Earnhardt Jr

What even is the format for this race?

Junior will be either comp.director or President in the not to distant future IMO. He'd be excellent in either.

So I guess you want that boob France back.
Cool.

The most convoluted in the history of sports.

4 15 lap features. W/a random invert between each.
Then a 30 lap feature where starting order is determined by the lowest average finish through the first 4 rounds.
Then a 10-lap sprint to end it where the field will start as they finished the 30 lap feature.

So it's either Phelps or Brain France in your mind?
I do think Junior has some of the right ideas. Nascar has never shown any inclination to take advice from anyone outside the ivory tower however.

So a Hendrick car is going to win? Because clean air is king. The Hendrick cars are the best, they have lowest “score” going into the feature, so they’re going to start in the lead and have the clean air.
frick this package.
frick this package.

Thanks for simplifying it for me. It is quite convoluted.

Yeah that’s ridiculous, how’s a driver supposed to pass when they’re driving full throttle and can’t catch the guy in front of them?
This is the reason why I don't even bother watching 1.5 mile tracks. There has to be literally nothing else worth watching on tv for me to consider Charlotte, Texas, Kentucky, etc.

Phelps came into a bad situation. France left the sport and the President's seat in shambles. And he wasn't a leader. He had a lot to clean up.
Phelps is a leader. He took a chance going back to racing during the pandemic and being the first sport back. If things had gone south, we wouldn't of seen any sport in any capacity last year. The fact it went off like it did w/very little setbacks was a lot of the reason we saw sports come back. It took a lot of balls to do what he did. And we both know France would of just cowered in his office in Daytona.
He also had the foresight to go to different tracks and break the monotony of the schedule and the same tracks over and over. Do you really think France would of done that?
Junior is an Earnhardt. Whenever him or his dad speak/spoke on a matter concerning NASCAR, they listened. He will make a great comp.director or President.

The Cheating Knaus' are looking strong once again...

Hendrick cars are 1,2,3 & 4. People's heads are gonna explode while Chad Knaus is evil laughing from their shop on Lake Norman.
