Sunday night on FOX will do better than anything on FS1 or Saturday night

Whatever you say, man. I think it’s an indictment on NASCAR as a whole that their races can’t do well on Saturday nights. The weeknight ratings last year weren’t good, so I can’t see how a Sunday night race would produce that much better when the next day is a work day.

I didn’t like the carousel as much as I did the old configuration. Hopefully that comes back next year.

Doesn’t really matter what time the races start. Between the shitty racing on the track, and the hokey arse commercial riddled tv production, it’s a boring product every week.... that I still watch.

I agree. The addition of the carousel takes away a couple of good braking zones/passing opportunities that the old configuration has.

Races this year are awful. Until someone calls out Knaus and crew on their cheating, it'll be zero competition

Exactly, I liked seeing cars dive bomb eachother on the short chute(I think that’s what it’s called?).

I’m there too.
But I record it and start watching an hour or so in.
I can FF through the commercials
and long green runs where Larson is 8 seconds ahead and there are 14 cars on the lead lap.

Yeah, this ain’t it. The Hendrick domination is about the only interesting storyline going these days.

Not a melt at all, I'm calling it like we all see it. Hendrick is clearly cheating and it's no coincidence Knaus is responsible for it under his new title in the organization.
They just also happen to have two of the elite drivers in the Cup Series

The best thing that ever happened to Larson was getting canned last year. We all knew he was a great driver and I'm glad to see him back in the sport.
However, if you don't believe that every team in the garage is pushing the limits of the regulations then idk what to do for you. Every team has it's time in the sun. It helps that Hendrick has a great stable of drivers and are able to get the cars to perform and stay relatively out of trouble.
ETA: Not directed at you tWildcat

The track layout with the carousel IS the old configuration.
That short chute crap was added for Nascar and made it a crap track. Just like The Glen where they don't run the Boot while every other series does.

If you think HMS is pushing the rule book now to their advantage just wait until the Playoffs. Imagine if all HMS drivers are running for the title at the final race.

100% on point. On both points.

Denny Hamlin tweeted that nascar will definitely be in Chicago next year. Could the street race actually happen?

And it ain't out of the question. And if it does happen, I can think of two posters on here who's heads will spontaneously combust.
Saying that, I think they'll have 2 in the final 4, Larson and Chase.
