And the road course king, Chase, is pulling away.

I completely forgot about this race today.

Pit stops w/17 to go.
One of the 3 of Larson, MTJ, ot Chase are gonna win. They've been the class of the field all day.
Better get used to the 9 and 5 battling for wins and titles for the next decade.

I’m starting to realize why Ross Chastain has spent much of his career in lower tier rides.

Maybe. But this is coming down to Larson and William Clyde.

It's pretty typical for Nascar to race on sundays, they do it about 32-34 weeks a year

Chastain has impressed me at times. I don't follow him closely but when he gets in the Top 10 he presses these guys.

I stand corrected.

Why is the All-Star race next weekend on Sunday instead of Saturday night? I swear, NASCAR scheduling just gets dumber and dumber.
ETA: not only is it on Sunday, it’s on Sunday night.

frick Suarez for dumping my driver. Just couldn't have a clean race,

Looks like Suarez and McDowell are going at it again like they did a few years ago.

Kyle 1st. Chase 2nd.
Last week: Kyle 1st, Chase 2nd.
Get used to these two in those two positions(flipped around to obviously) and battling for wins and titles a lot for the next decade.

NASCAR has come out publicly and said they're Saturday night viewership is horrendous.

Bowman said he wasn’t a good road racer and he’s right. Dude was involved in half the issues today. Haha!
Some good moments but pretty much another dud.
I was hoping NASCAR was going to tell California to screw off and not go back.

Hendrick is a machine this year.
Next year will be a complete reset so that will be interesting. Wonder if some teams are already devoting engineering time to the new cars, hindering their performance this year.

I can’t imagine Sunday night doing that well, though. Somehow Saturday night worked for them for many years, but maybe the problem isn’t the race being on Saturday night as much as it is the overall drop in NASCAR’s popularity.

I’m likely not going to watch. Not out of some spite or agenda. But 7pm on a work night is not going to work.
