Seems so easy for the leader to drive away at road courses.

DAVE Blaney won the World of Outlaws Sprint Car event in Ohio last night - last lap pass after putting pressure on the leader for a dozen laps or so, he got into the wall and Dave went around. Crowd went nuts, they posted it to their FB page HERE

Tyler Reddick on the pole today after qualifying. RCR slowly improving these last few years...

I feel like this race is going to have a lot of storylines on the fly.
Denny to the back after repairing his power steering.
Cindric toward the front.
Truex Jr. in the teens, will need to work through the field. How long is that going to take.
Can McDowell make some noise from a starting point in the teens?
Should be fun to watch. Elliott saying that the rain tires found MORE grip the more it rained.

Nascar mandates a rain start so everyone has to roll out on wets.
Then says you can change to slicks and keep your position.
Another example of Nascar being run by morons.
Let the teams decide what tires they roll out on. Stay the frick out of it.

Several guys coming in for wet tires after lap 1.

Blaney had his car taped up for a wet start, then NASCAR said they could change to slicks, so they took the tape off of Blaney’s car because the brakes would have burnt up if he was running on slick with that much tape. NASCAR says it’s an unapproved adjustment so Blaney went to the rear.

Pair that with penalizing teams for making tape adjustments for weather out of necessity, while having a different tire ruling three times leading up to start, and you have half the reason NASCAR doesn’t seem to have crossover fans from F1 or INDYCAR.

Heaviest rain is missing COTA so far. A heavier rain isn’t far away but may miss them to the northeast.

Windshield wipers in NASCAR always seem to suck. Half of the time they don’t seem to work correctly for a bunch of cars.
