I don't know that we fully appreciate how ridiculous his run at RG has been.

I just googled "2008 French Open Final" because I needed to feel happiness.

Thiem’s draw is the worst possible.

1st round - Cilic
3rd round - Ruud
4th round - Stan
QF: Schwartzman
SF: Nadal
Final: Djokovic

Novak and Rafa with pretty easy draws. Djokovic in particular. I could see him playing unseeded players possibly all the way to the semis.

Is Tsonga even playing anymore?
Used to love to watch that guy play.

I was thinking of playing like $100 on Thiem at +300 when I saw it in Detroit yesterday. He was +225 at a casino I swung by in west Michigan today, so not quite worth it. Riding with the crazy Russian at 25-1, even though I think he is not that good on clay.

Just so there are conditions factors for cracka and me to obsess over, my bro heard some speculation about heavy balls. I see they are switching to Wilson after a decade with Babolat.

I think I saw that average Sept/Oct weather is actually warmer than May/June. But, it would be interesting to see this tournament played at like 55 degrees.

Would have hated this a week ago, but with most of the good players in the bottom half, it's possible.

This is what it's looking like based on the forecast. And people have mentioned it was a cool, damp day when Rafa lost to Soderling in 2009 as well.

Honestly I don't know who benefits from this the most. People will assume Novak, but I think he struggles the get the ball through a clay court even when it's playing fast. It helps him defensively though.

There will be endless breaks for sure. Maybe the shorter guys will benefit due to the lower bounce, like the Diego and Ruud types. And you can probably give Halep the trophy already.

Wilson balls are trash, yet they keep popping up at more tournaments.

Korda with a nice win today to qualify for the main draw. Winnable first match vs. Seppi too.

There are shadows on the court and there is an echo. This is weird. Must be cold, too. Halep is wearing a jacket and tights.

Sinner took out Goffin in straight sets. Korda gets a win. Youth is served.

So the crazy crowds at the tour de France were OK, but they can't have fans here?

I thought they were going to have fans. I think this is the smart play, though.

Fritz was rolling a while ago, but now going into a fifth versus a qualifier.
