I don’t think Jeff knows anymore than anyone else but he definitely recognizes a terrible wreck

That, or get a slingshot just in time for first.

Ricky Bobby explains this very well to Cal Naughton Jr

Or a guy that knows this is a serious accident and is worried about someone who he probably knows pretty well

I still haven’t seen a video of CPR being performed

I couldn't tell in that grainy video. But the person in the background that had a better view said he could.

My point is, we are hearing conflicting things. I don't think anyone really knows right now.

I saw the video but I saw no signs of CPR. But it was a grainy video.

As of the moment your post has 10 downvotes. It should be 1,000. You are in the Top 3 for being the dumbest poster on this site.

For himself, yes. He knew it was over. If he pulled out of Newman's draft to try to pass he would have fallen in the running order like a brick. Newman would have likely fallen off too.

They were both manufacturer teammates, so it made sense for him at that point to help put a Ford in victory lane if he couldn't win it himself.

Yeah I mean the broadcaster focusing more on the wreck than who actually won the race tells you right away that they recognized it was pretty bad.

When it comes to Daytona and NASCAR, I hate hearing the name "Halifax Hospital".

They have always covered the car before for fatal accidents so that might be taken as a good sign.

Saying that I thought AJ Foyt was dead at Road America years ago when he car came by me covered in the pits. Just very fricked up. Different series though.

If you are watching that live feed in the presser area you will see the woman on the end is visibly upset and a blonde woman said ‘he’s gone’ to the bearded dude in the hat twice. I could be wrong and I reallllly hope I am.

Yeah I agree. Nothing looked like cpr but there was a lot of people around it and it was grainy.. I mean the fact we haven’t heard anything has given me a small bit of hope that the doctors are still working on him.

DW went from crying tears of joy for his brother winning to crying tears of sorrow for Dale in just a few minutes.

I'm all for rooting on Newman right now but let's not warp reality. Newman has never been a clean driver.

Been watching him for 17 years. Please give examples of where Newman was accused or been found to have raced someone dirty. Making someone work to pass you is NOT generally considered to be dirty racing.

Darrell was genuinely scared when they weren't hearing anything about Dale.
