You know...I would not be shocked if Joe isn't signed to a new contract this offseason regardless of the outcome. I don't think I'd be upset about it either.
However, I don't think the blame lies solely with him. The bullpen was trash from the beginning. Granted Maddon's management with it sucks but we're also expecting him to polish a turd.
