Eh, the Good Hope group that went 24-0 in middle school will be juniors. The seniors will be the West Ridge group that lost 1 or 2 games in middle school. Very strong freshman class will be there as well.

Wattigny blew it at the end... They were up 29-28 and had first and goal and scored too quickly. I think it was second down and they could have ran more time off, especially if we didn't have a timeout. (Bc the scoreboard said we had one timeout but we probably didn't have it). We took over with 2:07 left when they could have kneeled it and then kicked a short field goal to go up 32-28. We still would have needed a touchdown.
Then they score, it becomes 35-28, and you never kick the PAT in this situation. You always go for 2 and try to make it a 2 score game. Thankfully Wattigny didn't, and we went down the field.
It was the right call for them to go for 2 in OT though and win or lose the game on one play. Their roster had 70 kids but I didn't see 70 helmets, it looked like 40 or 50. The cramps and heat and being 3A might have made depth an issue for them

2016 all over again for CL. Team starting nearly all seniors, most of which have been starting for 2 or 3 years. Offense is explosive, Defense is big, fast and really just needs to slow down opponents to have a chance, but Shelly blitzes the shite out of mobile QBs, loses containment and gives up big plays.
