True...what we need is a foot race between you two at Sonic, well...maybe a foot race isn’t the correct terminology.

Because it is the rules. No different than a $5000 claiming race. I'm just glad it didn't happen however it was very very close.

Those of us who follow the sport know how close we were today to a catastrophe that would be a death nail considering the current state of horseracing. As unfortunate as the DQ was it was the right decision.

i dont follow as much as some of you. But you are 100% correct. Had those horses went down, on live tv, with this big of audience... it would had been the terrible for everyone

The sport will lose a lot of casual fans because of this continued pussification of America.

not be irritated and annoyed

there will always be a "worst poster on the site", but even 08 and Winston provide moments of entertainment

So after 145 years of racing.

Probably over 1 million races on any given level, today’s close call warranted a DQ and gave the race to a horse that wasn’t even close to being the best on the track?

Cry me a fricking river

145 years of racing.

No horse went down, no horse or jockey was injured

No one is being put to sleep

Quit being so fricking dramatic
