There’s no doubt the “play by play” on nbc is better than abc. I mean Kaiser is out of the race and the abc team still hasn’t mentioned why.

This is ABC’s last broadcast of the Indy 500 before NBC takes over next season. No doubt that this time next year we will be complaining about the number of commercials NBC runs.

NBC is offering a digital subscription package that will exclude commercials. Thank god! ABC/ESPN has been god awful for years, and they act ‘stunned & saddened’ for losing their longstanding contract. NBC should bring in Jerry Punch for the 500, but the rest of the crew can go. Diffey, Townsend Bell, & Paul Tracy are electric

These cars may have too little downforce. Dirty air is killing them.

Yeah, I don’t know much about single-seat racing but the announcers keep mentioning it and now Castroneves goes out with the same thing.

Yeah, these cars aren’t providing Indy 500 racing that is exactly “stellar.”

It’s going to take a pretty epic finish to salvage this race. Pretty meh so far. They need to go back to the drawing board with this super speedway kit.

Those last two moves on the restarts were the best moves of the race thus far.

Rossi is the only one who has the package figured out. The guy has been making moves today that other guys couldn’t even dream about making.

Is attendance still high at this event? Been a few years since I’ve watched it.

I noticed the front stretch (expensive seats) were very full @ the start of the race and here’s a lot of big holes now, I think the Yankees are dropping fast from the heat and seeking refuge

Dixon is fuel saving. He won’t have to make another stop.

I will literally LOL if a Honda wins this race after Chevy dominated the last two weeks. I thought Bourdais was the only Honda that had a chance to win, until he crashed out of course.

It's weird seeing great drivers like Helio and Bourdais crashing out on their own, so I wonder if the aero package needs adjustment, or maybe the engineers just need more time to refine the car setups.

Dixon and his team always seem to be the smartest guys in the paddock.
