Just looked back and you're probably right. I believe that they will get a couple of AAC games just because I think it's really hard to go winless in conference.
Feel for you guys, definitely thought things would be better three years in to his tenure.

I noticed the limited rotation in the box score, what's up with that?

Injuries galore. Will be really nice next season when we return practically the entire roster (minus Jean) and add McNeese transfer Kalob Ledoux (averaged over 15 ppg for the Cowboys last season)

Over the weekend teams went 4-7. Recap below.
*Friday, January 4th*
Tulane lost to SMU 65-74. The Wave got a 20 point, 15 rebound effort from Samir Sehic, 17 points from Jordan Cornish and 14 points from Caleb Daniels but it wasn't enough. Tulane drops to 4-10 and 0-2 in AAC play.
*Saturday, January 5th*
Louisiana Tech lost at Rice 66-78. The Bulldogs had four players reach double figure scoring led by Dequan Bracey with 18, JaColby Pemberton scored 15, Ra'Shawn Langston scored 13 and Anthony Duruji had 10 in the loss. Louisiana Tech falls to 11-5 overall and 1-2 in CUSA.
ULL beat Little Rock 75-61. The Cajuns got a huge game from JaKeenan Gant who scored 45 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win. Cedric Russell was the only other Cajun player to reach double figures with 11 points in the win. ULL gets to 10-5 and 1-1 in Sun Belt play.
ULM defeated Arkansas State 85-75. The Warhawks were led by Daishon Smith (24 points), Michael Ertel (19 points), Travis Munnings & JD Williams (18 points each). ULM is now 9-5 overall and 2-0 in the SBC.
UNO went topped Houston Baptist 81-76 in OT. Ezekiel Charles led the Privateers with 19 points & 11 rebounds. Bryson Robinson scored 14 while Gerrale Gates & Damion Rosser each scored 10 in the victory. UNO improves to 6-7 and 1-1 in Southland play.
Northwestern State edged McNeese 66-61. The Demons had two players in double digits led by Ishmael Lane's 17 point, 12 rebound performance and Brian White's 10 point effort. The Cowboys were got good efforts from James Harvey, Shamarkus Kennedy and Roydell Brown who scored 17, 16 & 10 points respectively. Northwestern State improves to 6-9 and 1-1 in the SLC while McNeese falls to 5-10 and 1-1 in conference.
Southeastern dropped a close one to Central Arkansas losing 71-73. Marlain Veal scored 27 points and Moses Greenwood & Brandon Gonzalez each scored 15 for the Lions but they came up just short. The Lions fall to 4-11 overall and 0-2 in the SLC.
Nicholls lost at Incarnate Word 58-65. Brandon Moore led the Colonels with 15 while Gavin Peppers & Kevin Johnson each chipped in with 10 points in the loss. Nicholls drops to 8-7 on the season and 1-1 in conference.

Teams in action last night went 0-2.
Grambling lost at Alabama A&M 60-65. Ivy Smith, Jr. had big night going for 27 points but he was the only Tiger to reach double figure scoring. Grambling drops to 6-9 overall and 0-2 in SWAC play.
Southern fell to Texas Southern 67-77. The Jags were led by Eddie Reese who scored 17 points and Sidney Umude who scored 15 points but it wasn't enough. Southern is now 1-14 on the season and 0-2 in conference.
There is only one game tonight and it's in Baton Rouge where LSU opens SEC play against Alabama at 8pm on SECN.

LSU opened SEC play with a 88-79 win over Alabama. The Tigers had four players reach double digits in the scoring column led by Tremont Waters 19 points and Kavell Bigby-Williams 14 point, 13 rebound effort. Solid performances were turned in by Ja'vonte Smart with 15 points and Darius Days with 14 points in the win. LSU improves to 11-3 overall and 1-0 in conference.

Nicholls beat Stephen F. Austin 78-73. Brandon Moore was the high scorer for the Colonels with 25 points while Jeremiah Jefferson and Gavin Peppers each scored 15 in the win. Nicholls is now 9-7 on the season and 2-1 in SLC play.
UNO got a win over Lamar 78-71. The Privateers had four players reach double figure scoring. Ezekiel Charles led the way with 22 points, Bryson Robinson scored 18 and Gerrale Gates & Damion Rosser both scored 11 in the game. UNO gets to .500 on the year at 7-7 and improves to 2-1 in conference.

This weekend state schools went 7-5. Recap below.

LSU was able to get by Arkansas winning 94-88 in OT. Tigers were led by big scoring nights from Naz Reid who led the way with 27 points and Marlon Taylor who scored 21. Skylar Mays had 15 points and Tremont Waters had 17 points & 11 assists in the win. LSU is now 12-3 and 2-0 in SEC play.
Louisiana Tech took care of Middle Tennessee 73-56. Anthony Duruji was the high scorer for the Bulldogs with 19 points. Amorie Archibald with 15 points, Ra'Shawn Langston with 10 points and Mubarak Muhammed with 11 points & 10 rebounds all had nice contributions in the win. Louisiana Tech goes to 13-5 and 3-2 in CUSA.
ULL edged Georgia Southern 87-85. The Cajuns were led again by a double double from JaKeenan Gant who had 22 points & 12 rebounds. Jerekius Davis scored 17 and Marcus Stroman & PJ Hardy each scored 12 in the win. ULL goes to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt.

LSU was able to get by Arkansas winning 94-88 in OT. Tigers were led by big scoring nights from Naz Reid who led the way with 27 points and Marlon Taylor who scored 21. Skylar Mays had 15 points and Tremont Waters had 17 points & 11 assists in the win. LSU is now 12-3 and 2-0 in SEC play.
Louisiana Tech took care of Middle Tennessee 73-56. Anthony Duruji was the high scorer for the Bulldogs with 19 points. Amorie Archibald with 15 points, Ra'Shawn Langston with 10 points and Mubarak Muhammed with 11 points & 10 rebounds all had nice contributions in the win. Louisiana Tech goes to 13-5 and 3-2 in CUSA.
ULL edged Georgia Southern 87-85. The Cajuns were led again by a double double from JaKeenan Gant who had 22 points & 12 rebounds. Jerekius Davis scored 17 and Marcus Stroman & PJ Hardy each scored 12 in the win. ULL goes to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt.
ULM lost a close one at Georgia State 73-74. Double figure scorers for the Warhawks were JD Williams with 19, Michael Ertel with 18 and Daishon Smith & Travis Munnings who each scored 11 but they came up just short. ULM drops to 9-7 overall and 2-2 in conference.
Nicholls topped Houston Baptist 77-76. The Colonels were led by Kevin Johnson, Jeremiah Jefferson and Brandon Moore who scored 19, 17 & 14 points respectively. Nicholls is now 10-7 this season and 3-1 in SBC play.
UNO beat McNeese 79-66. The Privateers were led by Bryson Robinson (17), Damion Rosser (15), Jahmel Myers (13) & Ezekiel Charles (10) in the win. The Cowboys got a 28 point effort from Shamarkus Kennedy and a 13 point effort from Malik Hines in the loss. UNO goes to 8-7 on the year and 3-1 in the Southland while McNeese falls to 5-12 and 1-3.
Northwestern State got a big win at Stephen F. Austin 61-59. DeAndre Love was the only Demon player to reach double figures with 16 points, but that was all they needed to get the win. Northwestern State is now 7-10 and .500 in conference at 2-2.
Southeastern dropped a close one to Abilene Christian 72-75. Marlain Veal's 19 points led the Lions who also got a 15 point, 11 rebound effort from Moses Greenwood and 14 points from Keith Charleston in the loss. Southeastern drops to 4-12 this year and 0-3 in conference.
Grambling took round one against Southern 69-63. The Tigers were led by Anthony Gaston, Ivy Smith, Jr. and Dallas Polk-Hillard who scored 17, 16 & 10 points respectively in the win. The Jags got 12 points from Jayden Saddler & 11 points from Richard Lee in the loss. Grambling improves to 7-9 this season and 1-2 in SWAC play while Southern falls to 1-15 and 0-3.

Tulane came up short against Memphis losing 79-83. The Wave were led by Kevin Zhang's 25 points and also got 15 points & 13 rebounds from Blake Paul and 12 points from Caleb Daniels but it wasn't enough. Tulane is now 4-12 overall and 0-4 in the AAC.

Gotta at least split on the Old Dominion - Charlotte road swing. Would be nice to sweep it seeing as we got swept on the UNT-Rice swing last road trip.
Can't lose at home and splitting on the road will be crucial to guaranteeing that top-four spot in the new C-USA Flex Scheduling.

Teams in action last night went 1-1.

LSU was the only team in action last night and they beat Ole Miss 83-69. The Tigers were led by Tremont Waters who scored 20 points and Kavell Bigby-Williams who scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor also had nice contributions with 14 & 12 points respectively. LSU improves to 13-3 and 3-0 in the SEC.
