Malkin was flat robbed of the Conn Smythe. I don't see any viable argument for Crosby ahead of him or Guentzel other than fame.
Crosby only had one goal in the Finals, and it was late in a blowout. He only scored a goal in game decided by two or less goals twice in the entire postseason. Guentzel, by contrast, had 5 game winning goals. Malkin led the team in points and goals, had a better plus/minus, and was one of two Penguins to have a positive possession this postseason (Kessel was the other). I'm not surprised the NHL's open xenophobia prevented Malkin from winning the MVP he rightly earned, but I am disappointed. At least had they given it to Guentzel, they had a legit case there for the GWG.

Crosby shouldn't have won last year, either. It seems like it's just becoming a deal where they give it to the best player.

Well that's like, just your opinion man...honestly you can't hold poison in your cheek without swallowing a bit of it. Just admit Crosby by every available metric is superior to errybody else Baloo, you'll feel better lol

Crosby won back to back Conn Smythes without leading his team in goals or points in either season.

Baloo has a hard time understanding anything other than points or goals (Ovechkinitis). Crosby kills penalties, is the best leader and captain the game has seen in a long Time, and finished a whopping 1 point behind Malkin.
I thought Letang should have gotten it last year, but zero problems with Sid getting it this year. Much deserved. Give it to the best player and they did.
Also MAF waived his no movement clause today so the Pens can protect Murray. So long Flower, you were awesome.

I love watching all the old World Series highlight videos from the 1920's, '30s, '40s, and '60s that MLB Network sometimes shows. I will probably buy some of these eventually. I think they are cheaper direct from the manufacturer.
