Washington in 7
How on God's green Earth could anybody have been stupid enough to pick the Washington Capitals against Pittsburgh in a playoff series?

3/4.. not bad
No, any dumbass who picked the fricking loser Caps over the Pens gets TEN fricking losses for that pick, so they went 3/14 on these picks, not 3/4. A monkey with his eyes closed just picking names out of a hat would do better.

Where to go from here? The Caps have ELEVEN free agents.
Get rid of all of them and cut whoever is left, shut down the franchise, bury any leftover equipment or memorabilia three miles under the deepest trench in the Pacific Ocean, purge all computer, paper or other records of any reference to what some people mistook for a hockey franchise, euthanize every poor soul who ever had the misfortune to attend any game played by those imposters, tear down the Verizon Center and build some kind of mystic curse-repelling structure, do brain surgery, hypnosis or whatever it takes to completely and utterly erase from the memory of every living being anything that could possibly relate to this fricking bunch of losers.
I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "well, of course you do all that first thing. It's obvious! But, what do you do after that?" Well, after that, you just hope that nobody ever has the moronic idea to put a professional sports franchise in Washington DC. That's what you do.

yeah, I completely agree. both teams could definitely make a deal happen.
we've got to do something to get over the Ducks and contend with what Edmonton is building. Ovi is exactly what we need

Calgary should hire Mr Spaceley again It worked so well last time.
No wait leave Mr Spaceley alone, he is needed in Montreal right now.

Maybe we can work the Caps again with another Forsberg-Erat trade.
Nashville gives Vern Fiddler
Washington gives Alex Ovechkin.
sound good? good.

I like Glen Gulutzan's system but I don't think Johnny fits in it. hence why I think he needs to be traded or at least shopped around. I love his potential and he is a dynamic passer, but at 5"6 165 lbs, he is Duck Food (bread crusts?).

@PR_NHL: Pittsburgh improved to 6-0 all-time as visitors in Game 7s - the best such road record among major pro sports franchises.

Spacely has a job. He coaches the Chinese KHL team.

Well...last night sucked. Don't have it in me to write up every single failure of this team. That third period was absolutely pathetic. Wouldn't even call it hockey by the Caps.

Thanks, it was like sitting on the throne as your kingdom burned down all around you. I knew it was over halfway through the second.

Potential expansion draft loss: Grubauer
Maybe, but I can see Vegas taking Murray or Flower. Unless the Pens protect both.

Fleury has to waive his NMC to Vegas or he has to be bought out, otherwise he has to be protected.

That might leave Murray out there. Unless the Pens protect two goalies.

Pens will 100% protect Murray.
It is more likely MAF waives his NMC and goes to Vegas.
