And got within two games of the Stanley Cup, trying to figure out how you're comparing this to a second-round loss by basically a sweep, two a team that was an 8 seed for a reason. Also to add last year's playoff run was far more difficult than this year's. It's not a bad thing to think about a young team not being performed, it happens.

And look how many failures they had with them before finally advancing that far. I don't see low a lack of "veterans" is why the Blues are getting dusted.

Meh, several Stanley Cup champs had leaders that young. Blues are taking too many dumb penalties, and guys like Schwartz and Berglund have been invisible.

Just saying three months ago most people thought this team wasnt even going to make the playoffs, so we even got rid of shatty. I'm glad how far we made it and I'm still not giving up on the series but the youth was going to eventually take a toll

Yeah, I don't recall Perron scoring at all in any of the series. You are right, just 2 months ago I didn't see this team making the playoffs. It sucks the team couldn't have played better before Shattenkirk was traded. Team came a long way when Yeo took over. I'm just tired of this team always finding ways to lose in the playoffs. Usually it is the goaltending that tanks, but this year it's not.

Preds are much better than their seeding. They played like garbage in 2016 and had to rally in the second half of the season. That top line is insanely good, and PK Subban is the maybe the most complete defenseman in the league (Karlsson is better on the offensive end and Doughty in the defensive end, but the's the whole package... except for maybe Burns, who is slowing down).
The Blues really picked up their game in Nashville, and were largely skating with the Predators, but Nashville just has too much speed for them. Last night's game could have gone either way. It's a fun series, but the Predators look like the better team overall. Though I expect the Blues to win their next home game to create a pretty nervy Game 6 for the Preds.

as someone who attends preds games every year, you have no idea what you are talking about. Nashville may be a new blood to the hockey team, but the fans have latched on to this organization. Particularly since the titans have been so bad.

I'm impressed with Nashville's fans. That place is rocking.
Also other 'non-hockey' hot beds like Tampa and Columbus produce some awesome crowds.

No one is denying Nashville has a long way to go. It's the south in football country. But the fans are much better and more prevalent than "no where to be found".
