Wimbledon is the one that gets me. I just assumed a roof wouldn't work because then the court would become a damp skating rink. But, they got the climate control down, and it works. That Arizona football stadium is amazing. Why do they even mess with that tray system when they could save a fortune and put down artificial turf?

Ha, very popular in the early '90's.

SkyDome is the one that shocked me. I was like no way they could do that.

Then when Wimbledon put a roof on I was like wow!

The next big game changing engineering breakthrough I think we will see is going to be in golf somehow they will figure out how to make it a true stadium sport. Maybe 50 years away, but it will happen.

You mean like this, but with a roof? Or something else?

I don't remember the last time I saw someone playing with Pro Kennex.

That's just 16 at Phoenix

I mean the whole course inside a stadium. I know IMS has a 9 hole course in its infield. But I mean a whole 18 holes where people can sit in a seat and watch almost every hole live and if need use a Jumbotron for closer views.

Rain has backed up a lot of play. Serena just rolled so Stevie and Del Potro is next.

Crazy how few upsets there were today, especially with the women.

I'm going bigger than usual on Isner tonight. He seems healthy and rested, and a night match on Louis Armstrong should mean good crowd support. I know he can lose to random guys at times, but I don't think Edmund is up to this type of challenge.

Hopefully Sock can give Cilic a run for his money. Cooler weather should help him. Harrison has a good shot at the 4th round too.

He's like Murray. They play possum and make you think they are exhausted.

Sock up 2 sets

Harrison's backhand is killing him. Needs to win this tiebreak.

Osaka is having an absolute meltdown against Keys right now. Was up 5-2 serving and now it's 5-all. She's almost crying. Hard to watch.

Keys wins. That's WTA for you. No lead is ever safe.

Sock is through. Harrison won the third, but is down a break in the fourth.

Madison with a big "F Yeah!" to her camp after winning that one. Awesome comeback. Pretty open draw for her as well.

Hopefully Ryan can comeback in the 4th here.
