Del Potro looked pretty dang good last night, albeit against kudla.

Serve and FH were beautiful, as expected looked off on backhand side, almost awkward at times. I thought maybe tentative? Hit more OHBH slices than I think of normally being part of his game, and that too is understandable.

The guy is flat out fun to watch for me. I hope he stays healthy. He is the type of player that presents the biggest challenge for Djokovic, provided he run a legitimate top-spin BH out there.

I really really hope Delpo can stay healthy and rise back up to his former level. The sport is better off with him in the mix.

Rio is such a joke for a 500

I was just thinking that earlier today. I initially assumed these were all 250s. Whatever the case, I've been watching a ton the last day or two as I was basically wiped out by Zika virus. The Marseilles crowd was like Davis Cup for Paire, although Cilic won. Kyrgios played freaking well today. Querrey v Smyczek was a dogfight, and Sam should be tired for Delpo. They better switch to Delpo on Tennis Channel when it begins.

Pella/Cuevas final in Rio. My sides are hurting. Kyrgios going to get his first title tomorrow?

Sam wins Delray Beach. Good for him. Kind of nice to see a couple of journeymen get some ranking points and cash.

What happened to Rafa? I saw him hit a double fault three feet long at set point in the first set tiebreaker yesterday, so he obviously has some confidence issues. But, he pulled it out and seemed to be rolling.

Rafa is 0-4 vs top 50 this year. Best win was Lorenzi. It's not good out there. I expect him to get bounced early at all the big events this season.
