Danny Green - G/F - Spurs
The Spurs reportedly fear that they may not be able to retain Danny Green as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
With the Spurs set to offer Kawhi Leonard a five-year max-deal, and smaller deals for both Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, in addition to a free agent pursuit of LaMarcus Aldridge, the budget could be tight in San Antonio. Green has reportedly drawn interest from the Mavs, Trail Blazers and Pistons thus far, and if the Spurs nab Aldridge via free agency, there chances of retaining Green will be lessened.

The Rockets could have difficulties in trying to re-sign Josh Smith as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Houston isn't going to have much money to work with, as they already have a large portion of their salary committed to James Harden, Dwight Howard and Trevor Ariza. They are also going to try and re-sign Corey Brewer, Patrick Beverley and K.J. McDaniels, so they may not have enough money to give Smith a truly enticing deal. The one thing working in their favor is that Smoov will be getting paid by the Pistons, so he may be willing to give the Rockets a bit of a bargain if he likes his situation. He did say that he'd like to return to Houston, but a big money offer from another team might sway his decision.

Luol Deng remains undecided whether or not he will enter free agency. A decision will be made tomorrow, according to Deng’s agent.

Monta Ellis plans on discussing a long-term contract with the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat in free agency this summer.
Ellis recently opted out his contract with the Mavericks and they don't seem to be too interested in bringing him back. The Hawks could have plenty of cap space if Paul Millsap or DeMarre Carroll leaves in free agency, while Ellis could be a backup plan for the Heat if Dwyane Wade decides to leave. The Pacers are also said to be interested, and Ellis would likely be a great fit alongside George Hill. Free agency is going to be a lot of fun this summe

According to the Los Angeles Times, Marc Gasol has no interest in joining the Lakers this summer.
Gasol reportedly didn't like the way the Lakers treated his brother (Pau) during his last few years with the organization, so the Lakers should probably shift their focus to other free agents. Gasol hasn't said much regarding his free agency, but the Grizzlies are the still the favorites to retain his services.

According to Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, the Pistons will target DeMarre Carroll and Danny Green in free agency this summer.
Carroll and Green will have no shortage of suitors on the open market, so this will be a very difficult task for Stan Van Gundy. SVG covets 3-point shooters, and both Carroll and Green are lethal from beyond the arc. Detroit was able to take Stanley Johnson in the draft with the eight pick, but his value could take a hit if the Pistons sign another wing this summer.

Emmanuel Mudiay's arrival in Denver could spell trouble for Ty Lawson according to Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post.
Lawson stirred up some drama when he said in a video that he was going to Sacramento after the Nuggets selected Mudiay with the seventh pick in the draft, and the rumors have continued to escalate ever since. Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly was reportedly "giddy" when Mudiay fell to No. 7, and he may not want to put up with Lawson's antics much longer. The Kings have been a rumored destination for Lawson for a while now, and George Karl's presence in Sacramento is obviously a huge factor as well. We will be following this story closely all summer.

They had him on the trading block the whole time and forced him to play a game he wasn't good at.

I don't anticipate a big open market battle for Josh Smith.

He was in the nixed CP3 deal so I guess that was awkward for him but I don't understand how he was treated "bad" by the organization.
The Lakers even offered Pau a contract with a no trade clause when he hit free agency last offseason.

And Kobe is a good husband because he bought his wife an expensive diamond ring. They realized they treated him poorly once he wanted to go elsewhere, and in desperation they offered him a no trade clause.

Pau Gasol felt like a critical piece to a championship team, and he was jerked around a lot. An outsider can easily see that.

Lakers fans opinions versus Pau's brother..... Hmmm

How to be a Lakers fan.
1. Worship Kobe
2. Throw every other player under the bus in order to make Kobe look better.

What happened between 2011-2014?
Posted on 6/28/15 at 7:38 pm to RTR America
he was a part of a trade that, sure, probably made things awkward and is not the best way to treat a player. then mike dantoni trivialized him in the worst way possible by putting him on the bench at certain points. i mean outside of the CP3 trade, i really dont see nor had i ever heard of an issue between pau and laker management. unless he blames dantoni on them which is eh

He was on the trade block every chance they had.
