He needs to go back to swinging the way he was circa 2000-2002.

Tiger - before he was a dick.

Also, I can't even tap my ball on the tee without moving it much less swing like that

Made a lot of pars today and two two putt birdies and an eagle. Nothing special at all.

No shite .. I was telling the guys in the group today that I went about a year (no lie) without making one. I think that I have made 5 in the last 7 rounds .. Crazy how that works out ..

KNEW IT!

Funny, because I made an eagle on that exact same hole with the exact same club earlier this spring. Driver -8 iron - nailed the putt.

Still shot like 76 with various crap holes. the Bridges gets me everytime

as long as he keeps trying to swing Haney's way, he will struggle

You realize he won 6 of his 14 majors under Haney's tutelage right?

And even in 09, when he didn't win one, he won almost 50% of the tournaments he played. I'm certainly not an expert, but I don't understand the Haney hate.

When he doesn't have a coach is when he seems to struggle...02-04 which were the post Harmon years...and now.

So...

Butch: 8
Haney: 6

Tiger won 8 majors in 5 years under Butch’s watch as a pro, with 3 majors in the most dominating fashion (1997 Masters by 12 strokes, 2000 US Open by 15 strokes, and 2000 Open Championship by 8 strokes). Under Hank Haney, Tiger’s won only 6 majors in 6 years, but none by more than 3 strokes.

Are you actually saying that Tiger hit it good for any period of time under Haney

Oh, don't misunderstand, I wholeheartedly agree he's not been as dominant. And as you said, I certainly don't understand why he felt a need to change his swing in the first place.

But the odds of him continuing to play/dominate like he did in 2000-2001 were remote in my opinion. The game just doesn't lend itself to that.
