what happened on the green?

Tiger chipped up and lipped it out. It ended up about 3-4 feet away, and Molinari made him putt it. Tiger missed, then conceded Molinari's putt of similar length to halve the match. While Tiger was putting, you could hear all the Euros in the background chanting "ole!" There weren't next to the green, but it was audible. The Euro celebration was on.

Keegan

I was skeptical about him before this week, but he was awesome.

Love is going to be 2nd guessed big time for sitting him and Phil yesterday afternoon.

It's actually a rivalry now, much more interesting because both sides can win now.

I agree, the Ryder Cup is much more interesting with the addition of all of the European nations.

I still stand by my convictions though, Spain is now the European equivalent of Arkansas.

Phil asked to sit. You don't play people who want to sit.

And good luck to us if Keegan is the new face of American golf

I'd rather stick a fork in my eye than watch those trashy fricks celebrate on our soil. Was it bad?

I don't have a problem with DL3 sitting Phil. Keegan was so pumped I think I might have played him.

I don't know how you know that, but if that's true, then I agree. I thought Phil would sit because of his arthritis.

Still, Keegan could've played with someone else.

And why would this be bad? Poulter and Sergio are garbage in any tournament except the Ryder Cup, and that seems to work ok for Europe.

Out of a possible 12 points, USA mananged to earn 3.5.

Led 10-6 and lost 14.5-13.5.

Yep, it was bad.

Feherty just made an excellent point. Up until today, the singles on Sunday were our strong suit. I'd be curious to know when we got waxed this bad or worse on Sunday's singles play.

I'd be willing to be this is the worst Sunday singles loss ever for the US. I didn't think Europe had any chance today when I woke up.

Just saw on twitter that DL3 said that he thought everyone was playing so well that he didn't think it mattered what order he sent them out in today. Jesus...

When I woke up this morning I would have agreed with him.

All the credit to the Euros. They kicked our asses today and they are now hoisting the Ryder Cup.

first time i've been at a computer so apolgies for being late...but wtf was DLIII doing putting Stricker and Furyk so far back in the lineup? he had to know that Ollie was gonna put his horses out early to get some points up for Europe, and he had to avoid it coming down to those guys in the end. he should have served up those guys as sacrificial lambs and sent them out early and let our studs play in the middle and late pairings.

And F "Europe" and their stupid made-up flag.

Obviously it does....hope this is a lesson to the next captain. if you're in the lead you put your lousy players out early...maybe put a couple of them out mid-round. This match shouldn't have gone to the 10th match...USA should have locked up the win by match 9.
