0-3-1. He sucked.

Aside from Friday morning, he played very well. He was the only reason they were in the 4 ball matches, and had that match mattered, he would have won

What a bunch of whiners on this board. Great event. We lost, they won. Get over it. US has acted like asses in this event too. Seve helped make this event as exciting as it is. Sheesh is just a fricking game.

When did the US players act like asses?

You said "this event." I thought you meant this event, as in this week. I agree Brookline was pretty over the top.

Is there a US player, outside of Tiger, that doesn't totally vomit all over himself under intense pressure?

The US team was full of top 10 players and major champions. All golfers choke if you give them enough opportunities.

Sorry, should have made myself more clear. USA was all class this week. Both teams usually are also. Really feel bad for Furyk and Stricker. Furyk has had a really bad year.

Apples and Oranges. The Americans were celebrating a potential win.

I don't mind the Euros partying after the win, not conceding the putt on 18 after it was decided pisses me off to no end. Last time I believe the bullshite about the Europeans being gentlemanly and proper. Both Seve and Ollie trashed up the event, there is an extremely fine line between gamesmanship and being a prick which they both crossed.

I still think the cop that drove Rory to the course should be deported.

Europe has an advantage in this every year, most of their player play half of their tournaments in America, and half in Europe thus knowing all the courses,Americans play in America only, with a few exceptions.

I would suggest that the Europeans that live in America have to play for America,it's fricking bullshite that they can enjoy all the spoils of America but stomp on our greens playing for other nations.

And most of the posters in this thread for the last three days would 6 putt from 8 feet under that type of pressure.

I could handle it. I would only three putt.

Yeah, but it just seems like the Ryder Cup pressure, in particular, just destroys guys.

I agree he should have conceded. I think that was Jose Maria giving us the "frick you" for 1999. Maybe not. Nice gesture by Tiger to concede Molinari's though. Class.

I don't want those frickers playing for us. I want to kick their asses in 2 years at Gleneagles.

Was this Molinari's first Ryder Cup? He might not have known the proper protocol?

I hope Fowler is back in this in two years. He loves this pressure.
