Because the pairings aren't matched up. Each side determines their order without knowing what the other side is doing.

Yea, they're obviously very comfortable together. I don't know if y'all saw before the matches started, but neither Sergio or Donald has ever lost a Foursomes match at the Ryder Cup regardless of pairing. If they can beat those two, that would be a great boost.
