Do you think Stroman has a chance to stick in a rotation or is he ticketed directly to the pen?

Montero hasn't been as bad as advertised but his arm sucks and it will be great when Zunino moves him off the position full time. Just needs to learn to hit as a DH, he has like 1.000 OPS when he catches and .600 when he DH's.

I just realized that the Pirates now have a better trio of pitching prospects than the Mariners.

I like Russell for the A's, but I wish they would've gone Gallo (even though I'm hoping he falls way down and enrolls in the fall.) We need a big bat, and he has a ton of raw power

With every pick that passes without Giolito being drafted, I think it gets more and more likely he goes to UCLA to rebuild his value.

Speaking of catchers the Mariners took at number 3, what ever happened to Jeff Clement? Wasn't he involved in the deal to get Cliff Lee? Guess he hasn't ammounted to anything.

On the Mariners pick Felix yelled "hey Montero, you are going back to Pulaski!"

Not like Pulaski is AAA, it's rookie league.

Only because Paxton is walking over 6 batters per 9 innings

I'd put Walker/Hultzen against anyone. Hultzen's stats after his 1st start are incredible.

No

Clement was involved in the Jack Wilson trade

He's in AAA with the Pirates, and he's a AAAA guy

Traded for Ian Snell and Jack Wilson

Picked him over Tulo and Longoria. M's were set to take Tulo and decided they 'needed' a catcher more.

Paxton is hurt, hopefully that is why he was walking so many, he was pretty money the beginning of the season.

Hultzen has been unreal lately and Walker is the phenom of the 3. M's trio seems a little safer, Pirates probably has more upside.

I love Hultzen.

Lefty with nice control and plus stuff? Yes please

Throwing in Safeco will keep his #s way down

I can't remember the last time the pirates hit on a pitcher. Give me the mariner guys for now.

Yeah, Safeco helps lefties so much more than righties, he and Paxton will be great fits for that park. Hultzen should be in AAA soon, hopefully see him in Seattle in July or August.
