They average beating the spread by 14 points. It’s irrelevant at this point as it relates to them

Then take the ML

This game makes me nervous as hell.

We still give up big plays and we start slow in games.

It's not uncommon for a team to have scripted plays for the first drive and get a TD. It happens a lot.

Northwestern started with 13 carries for 53 yards.

They ended the game with a total of 28 carries for 50 yards

This years UGA isn’t as good as one that had a top 10 pick playing TE. 2 WR taken in the second round. The current starting RB for the buffalo bills and a 2nd round LT. Wow brother you’re really breaking news

I’m not comparing them to past UGA teams, I’m comparing them to Indiana. UGA isn’t blowing them out with Carson Beck taking the snaps.

Do try and keep up.

Rampant rumors that Ohio State starting center tore his Achilles moving a TV down some stairs.

Ohio State would likely be starting 4 guards the rest of the way with other injuries to both LTs.

Yikes.

I was wondering if this would get bumped for that news.

Buckeyes season is likely fricked. All thanks to Fyre and Day addressing an already shallow OL room like a bunch of dipshits.

Much more of a recruiting failure on the OL than portal. Squarely on Frye.

But we've lost 3 starting offensive linemen. That's tough for any team.

11.5 surprised me. I normally don't sweat Indiana but their team is legit.

Legit based on what? Beating Michigan by five points last weekend? Nobody they have beaten is in the top 25. Charlotte, Western Illinois and FIU is an embarrassing non-conference schedule, even for the Big18Ten.

You're frigging Ohio State, the team loaded with 5 stars and a 20 million dollar payroll.
You can't "next man up" and beat a bunch of 3 stars in the Horseshoe ?

We could have taken Indiana’s starting LT, who is a Columbus native, from the portal last season and Day/Frye said no thanks.

Would have been the perfect swing tackle, kept Jackson at LG, and Hinzman could have filled in just fine at C.

Just brain dead contingency planning.

We took a LT last year in Simmons. Not sure your point.

We couldn't have had both.

I think they will be OK on Saturday, but that's a brutal beat to try to win a conference championship and then three or four playoff games down two LTs and a center. I don't think you can criticize Day for that, either, you don't have unlimited rosters.

Carter Smith would have easily won the RT job over Fryar. And then would have jumped to LT after the Simmons injury.

They would be backfilling injuries with experienced starters while keeping Jackson at his natural position the entire time.

I highly doubt you'd bring in two LTs(if they even would both come in knowing you took the other) and have everyone stay. You know that.

C'mon man.

I really don’t care if they would have lost Fryar because of it. He’s a bad RT to begin with.

Taking that as you say, we'd still be in the same spot.

Down two tackles and a center, piecing it together.

Don’t really agree. There’d a lot less shuffling and more of guys playing their natural position.

Looking forward to the situation being significantly worse next season due to multiple recruiting cycles of misses.
