We’ve got the man with the lowest round in major championship history and 2-time Masters champion José María Larrazábal.

This tall dude genuinely looked like a 15 handicap for a solid stretch in the NCAA championship finals and I ROASTED him.

Now look at him go. I feel like an idiot

Who is the tallest great golfer?

I can’t think of anyone off the top of my head.

Who is this announcer on the 1st tee that keeps talking/questioning about how players need to "embrace" The Open?

Yeah, I'm sure players are just playing/preparing half-arse for The Open.

Was it Oberholser? But yeah, talking about Koepka embracing the Open when he has 4 top 10s seems dumb.

Scheffler, Fleetwood, and Scott is gonna be a ball-striking phenomenon

It was. I generally like him but he can sound a bit goofy at times.

A search says James Hart du Preez is 6’9”

He’s got a solid frame which makes his height not look quite as freakish as Lamprecht.

Du Preez murders the ball. Think he got a sponsors exemption to the AmEx a couple years ago IIRC.

But yeah, Lamprecht is very much a slenderman.

I hate how behind the coverage is. I feel like I can’t look at the leaderboard on the risk that something gets spoiled.

Or when you watch a featured group and see the shot shown on TV 5 minutes later

Does anybody remember what year it was when they hadn't had rain and the course was straight golden/brown? Fairways were like a rock.

The dudes were hitting irons off most tees.

Fitzpatrick has hit two of the worst back to back tee shots I've seen from a golfer of his caliber.

I found it. 2006 and it was at Royal Liverpool ironically. Tiger won and only hit 1 driver all week.

I'll try to find some better pics.
