JB went from 3rd to 67th today
Didn’t realize that until catching back up in this thread. That is amazing. Likely an all time high round (87) on a Sunday in a major for a player starting the day in the top 5.
I mean, there is 80...and then there is 87. At least David Duval had one enormous screw up of a hole. JB just consistently approached that total.

I’m liking Bruce more and more. His reaction to JB taking forever on the green. LINK
No vid, but another tweet said he looked at an official at one point and tapped his non-existent wrist watch.

Nice final round, J.B.

Think I saw it was the highest round at the open by a person high up (don’t remember exact parameters) since 1966
ETA:
So highest ever in a final round since ‘66. Sheesh

The 87 is the highest score by a player at #TheOpen in the final round since Lew Taylor in 1966 at Muirfield shot the same score.

Sergio picked up 9 strokes on him today to tie him!

When did we go from Brooks to Blake

It’s a pardon my take thing

JB doesn’t take long once he is over the ball. He just doesn’t seem ready when it is his turn.

Regardless, it's on Holmes.

No doubt it is on JB. Hell, didn’t know what club he was going to hit on the first tee when it was his turn. He had hours to figure it out.

That’s wild.
LaCava was talking about how detail oriented Tiger is compared to Couples the other day. He said 30 minutes before he left the range before a round Tiger would ask his what the wind will be doing on each hole and hit shots and pull clubs that he thought he’d be hitting given each situation.
And Holmes doesn’t even know what he’s taking off #1

That's why both Couples and Tiger are major champions and the truck driver never will be.

I don’t know if I would go that far. He did tee off late in the Open today and we didn’t. I’am not sure anyone on this board would have beat him in scoring.
