I mean I might be ok with the order if they pushed out the British Open to August. Mostly, I'm just irritated that this is the last major championship of the year and it's only July 21st.

Tour officials felt they had to adjust their schedule to avoid going head to head with the NFL in the fall. The TV numbers will indicate whether or not it was a smart move.

I like that the PGA moved up because they can go to a lot more southern courses, though I don’t like that it will regularly be at the new course they’re building in Frisco.
Would the fedex cup be more entertaining if the first rounds were on courses that provided more of a test and played on some of the historically US Open courses?

Maybe they'll start promoting it better now that the majors are all over by July. I'm open to caring I just don't at this point.

I guess that I'm in the minority. I understand that the networks have to show commercials to generate revenue to offset the production costs. If you want a telecast without commercials it will be pay per view. At least now on most of the commercials they show the play through on the left side of the screen. If you miss an important shot while they are in a break you will see it on tape when they return.
