Guys I almost died when Spieth hit that drive on #1.

The guy is just insanely great when he needs to be.

Nicklaus winning the Masters in 1986 at age 46 will forever be the best golf story ever.

Definitely a great story for Nicklaus, but Tiger has been to hell and back...some of it his own doing. Add the spinal fusion, substance abuse issues, etc..it would be a pretty great comeback story.

It is funny to me watching the 10 years younger than me crowd going through the aging process with one of their "heroes".

just like every other fricking generation - my heroes are the bestest!

Yep. Funny seeing the nutlickers talking about Eldick benig a cocktease when he looks to be back on top only to disappoint them.

I think these nutlickers would literally spooge on their tv's if he won. A weird bunch.

Lol. You don't know shite. Google Ben hogan. You have likely never heard of him. He truly went to hell and back. Without modern medicine and not of his own doing. Tiger is done.

Didn’t say it was the greatest story and I most certainly know about Hogan. GFYS

Highly doubtful you have ever heard of hogan. Maybe hulk hogan for you. Say your prayers and eat your vitamins.

I'm neutral on Tiger. But his winning tomorrow would not be some shocker. He's won 14 majors. I still think for the greatest sports's stories to happen is for Tiger to get to #19 major won.

It would be one hell of a story. I’ve maintained for 9 years that winning another major would be harder than winning 4 more.....if that makes sense. I agree, winning #19 would be the bigger story but if Tiger somehow pulled it off tomorrow, it would be a day the golf world would never forget.

Big secondary goal for Tiger is playing well enough to get into the top 50 so he qualifies for the last WGC Bridgestone.

Looks like it's playing a lot tougher than yesterday based on early scores. Some birdies in play out there but the best score on the course in the first 4 hours of play is -2.
