Now that Pogi fixed his issues with altitude and heat, he might not lose for the next 5-10 years barring crashes.

Jonas looks completely wrecked. Wouldn't be surprised if Remco drops him tomorrow and takes second in the TT. Not that Jonas really cares if he's second or third.

New record set on Isola 2000. Pog = 38:13. Previous record was from 1993 tour.

I know this is speaking to the choir, but Phil and Bob have taken the air out of this tour for me. Maybe it’s time to get someone else in the booth and move Bobke back into the studio with CVDV

The Eurosport announcing team is great. Peacock used to have the world feed and got rid of it and now we are stuck with 30 years past his prime Phil and Bob Roll who may be the worst commentator in history.

I liked Bobke in his prior roll, and I like Horner in studio along with Christian. Bob and Phil don't have the same chemistry that Phil and Paul had - I really enjoyed those old broadcasts with Paul.
I remember seeing NBC discuss their TDF coverage - they said they lose money on it. It's a tough event to cover but they stick with it because no one else is doing it. I'm thankful for that but I wish they were able to dedicate some more resources, get it back on regular TV, do those commercial free segments etc. I also liked the old stuff we used to get on Outdoor.

Dude made up a 3 minute gap in 5 minutes. At least try to be subtle. Jesus Christ. Not even breathing hard.
Conversation between me and one of my paralegals earlier:
She walks into my office
"are you saying 'alien boy' over and over?"
"no, alien baw"
"what the hell is an alien baw"
"you see that yellow thing on the screen? That is an alien baw"
furrowed brow "you cyclists are so weird"
"you have no idea"
"well at least you aren't still coming to work in your underwear" reference to former bike commuting
"I'm hurt"
"well I'm scarred so we are even"
"fair enough"
Pog and Joxean Fernandez don't give a single frick. Everyone in the world is talking about doping and they just say frick it and ride down Matty J like he has concrete wheels and make Remco and Jonas look like Cat 5 racers in his wake. About as subtle as a trunk full of erythropoietin.

Whatever it is I’d like some right now. The in-laws are inbound and I’ve got mountains of laundry to KOM at the moment

And was never breathing hard and barely sweating.

100% ruthless. He came out of the saddle to spike Matty. Yes, it is textbook racecraft for overtaking but damn it was cold. Matty couldn't have held his wheel more than a couple of strokes at best.

Dude dunked on him on Matty’s current home course. Just brutal.

gerraint thomas of jiffy bag, cynical use of TUEs, and froome-positive salbutamol team sky fame? no doubt pog and jonas look superhuman and i'd like to know the secret behind their "nutrition and training". but do some of these teams forget their own histories?
the silliest take had to come from tejay van garderen today basically saying pogacar should have let someone else win the stage. that 3 minutes ahead was enough.
are people forgetting jonas put almost 2 minutes into pogacar over a 22km time trial last year? the time trail in nice is 35km. on that last stage, if jonas is feeling good then one mechanical, flat, or unlucky fall means pogacar loses the race. not sure how tejay faults an attacking racer for attacking and taking time where he can get it.

Without a drop of sweat or a deep breath.
On Instagram, Intermarche was thankful for the bottle he tossed in their car today to avoid a fine
Dude has a personality for sure and he seems well liked.
La Femme Tour already dead? Just realized I haven’t seen any ads for it this year or heard anything on The Move

I saw that happen out of the corner of my eye and I guess I just assumed it was his own car.

What do you want to bet every bit of liquid both inside and out of that bidon is going to be an assay ESI needle injected into one of these by the end of the day.
If Bini starts pumping out 2,500 watts in his sprints we know what's up.
