Um I don't think he acting like he owned the place, and no Artest definitely did not start it, it was obviously Ben Wallace.

So because Artest laid on a table it gives you the right to chuck a beer on him? I do not know where you live or nor do I care, but that has to be the dumbest thing ever.

We were at my apt in Kenner about to head out to my best friend's bachelor party in NOLA. Game was on in the background while we were all finishing up getting ready. One of the guys with us started losing his shite, so we came running to see what was going on. Total chaos.

Exactly what I thought while watching it.
Love how the guy's face Artest went after. Definitely screamed OH shite right before Ron Ron got a hold of him. Also the turtle looking guy came bouncing out all hardcore and then saw Ron's crazy eyes and just stopped.

A few overlooked things from that night.
1. Ben Wallace should've been suspended for a couple years.
2. The fan that threw the first cup, that was a pretty good throw.
3. Auburn beat Temple in basketball and Alabama won by 31 over Western Carolina.
4. Missouri lost to Davidson
5. Kobe went for a triple double
6. Austin Crochere is one of the worst teammates in the history of basketball.

I've felt this way since the night it happened. Ron Artest would always get those Rasheed Wallace and Dennis Rodman technical fouls based on their reputation. Ben Wallace was mad they were losing the game and that the Pacers were still defending them without calling off the dogs. With it being Ron Artest who fouled him he acted extra stupid to which Ron Artest was sent to the scorers table by his teammates to keep down confusion. They didn't account for the fans of the palace to go apeshit crazy. While you can't blame Ben Wallace for forcing a fan to pour beer on Artest he was clearly the instigator of the tension.
