I thought they should have tried to get closer than the 20. 35 yard FG isn’t a gimme even at the college level

Virginia Tech deserved that shite after not even trying for a TD.

I don’t know. All the turnovers. A clear hold against VT missed on that last drive after the refs called a couple on Pitt in the 4th quarter. Pitt might have lost the war though with the QB getting hurt.

** Sorry misread your comment. I agree VT was too passive at the end.

It took Matt Campbell less than 10 months to turn Penn State into a Big 12 defense.

I never got the Matt Campbell fascination

I will forever say the reason Ryan Day got his NC is because of Chip Kelly.

NW really wants to win that first game in that new stadium.

Penn State's comeback attempt seems to have been momentarily derailed.

The fact that AP voters had Penn State ranked 13th before last weekend shows we don’t need polls till week 8

Yep, but you can't frick with Notre Dame, they need those pre-season polls.

I clicked on an ESPN article that made it seem like ND was playing the 01 Hurricanes instead of North Carolina tomorrow.

It's sad when you look at individual schedules and look at Indiana, ND, Miami, ect. that play no one. At least Ohio State has a tougher schedule, but then again, look at Texas, Mississippi State, LSU, Florida, Ole Miss those schedules are brutal.

G are there any funny threads over on the OT? It's been a few weeks since they had a banger.

I'm not sure why they ended up with that shitty angle unless the kicker specifically requested it.

I still think Tech won.

I've seen four angles that show it good.

Think the broadcast said he "kicker" wanted it on the right hash.

Absolutely. The Ohio State offense has been slow and uncreative ever since he left. Which is insane because Urban originally brought Day in to modernize the offense but now Day is also completely lost on that side of the ball as well.

I only got to see the kick twice, I thought it was good. My 2 cents.

I found some info that said in the NFL, if the ball goes over the upright, the call on the field is not reviewable, presumably because no camera will have a better angle than the ref on the field. The way this game ended, I'm guessing it's the same in college ball.

Quick lookthrough ... the thread about the story of the stolen tree could be interesting but I haven't read it yet. I'm fighting off sleep to make it to the end of the PSU-NW game. I can barely read when I'm not tired.
