No for sure he does, I’m just saying for me there is more to show before making a statement like he will win next year.

He could no doubt win there a couple of times, I’d just like to see more dawg out of him before buying back in

Lol Rory kills it in final rounds like Finau

He’s got a long way to go before anyone should feel good about him putting four solid rounds together in a major tournament

It's not like he hasn't won majors, baw. He has 4. Granted, it's been 8 years but sometimes a round like this does wonders for someone's psyche.

Golf is a very mental game.

No doubt, the mental part of golf is why I don’t think there is some flip he switches and starts pouring in wins like he was 8 years ago.

Again he could and I wouldn’t be surprised, this is just my opinions.

He’s still only 32. Back in the day guys didn’t hit their prime until then. Mickelson won all 6 of his majors after that age.

hear you, but doesn’t he top 10 at Augusta all the damn time?

He has a solid shot of getting a win there one day

Exactly. And I already called my shot that next year is his year.

But people thinking that he won't won another major when he's still only 32 fricking years old(33 on May 4th) are being ridiculous.

Barrack Obama was president for Rory’s last major. That feels like 10 lifetimes ago for me

He has a lot to do before he proves to me he can put 4 major rounds together

Has there ever been an era of golf with this pool of young talented golfers though?

It’s a lot harder to win when your older when the younger guys just keep getting better and better

That shot from Scottie should seal it. No chance at coming back now. Can bogey in and be safe

That's why I said his round today is what's gonna turn the corner for him here from a mental standpoint.

That shot took stones. That was for all of you calling him plain and boring.

Maybe it does but until then

When it doesn’t count, count on Rory

Go re-read my post before this. He's 33 in a month. He is still very much in his prime. I just feel like today undid his mental block.

I think you might be onto something. Rory is prickly at times and occasionally says something controversial, but in reality he’s almost too nice and passive.

His openness and honesty can be a detriment for someone like him that wears his emotions on his sleeve. He needs to get that fire and cockiness back like he had in his younger years when he didn’t know any better.

Scottie is boring. His golf game isn’t.

Tiger, rory, Phil, Spieth, Jt, give emotion, rage, fire, etc on the course. Scottie doesn’t. Watching on a tv screen good shots don’t really do much for you, you want a little lagniappe. Does that make Scottie a bad baw? No, but it just means when you are 7 white claws deep like me you start looking up pornhub on your phone instead of watching

I’m white middle class with 3 kids. I can watch boring and unemotional 7 days a week in the mirror. Don’t need to watch it on tv
