that's your website?
cool
i go there quit a bit, i've watched BR & NO play a couple times... which means i've seen you
Technically belongs to the team, but I created the current iteration of the site (since 2007) and am the sole maintainer.
We're flying pretty high right now and BR is pretty down. Our B team just beat Baton Rouge A by a score of 63-15, while our A team traveled to Atlanta and beat the Renegades 31-29.

oh and if the NZ/AUS semi was tonight, i'd drive to Finns to watch, cause that's going to be an epic match...
Had a pretty long Saturday. Flew to Atlanta, played rugby game, went to post match social for a few beers, flew back home, went to Finn's, and stayed there until 5am.

**Score Spoiler Alert**
Ok I watched the 2 Semi-finals
the first game between France and Wales featured a lack luster attempt from the Welsh.
France came out fired up and grabbed the lead and never let go.
The only spark on the Welch side was early in the game when their captain got kicked out (red card) of the game for a 'spear tackle'
and within the last 5 minutes of the game.
Not that the French were setting the world on fire, but they held on for a hard earn win over Wales 9-8

The second semi-final game was All Blacks all the way.
Starting from the extra demonstrative HAKA, in which the wallabies never flinched and actually stayed long after NZ left the field, there was a sense, this match was going to be a clash of the titians.
No matter the sport that New Zealand and Australia meet in, they both try to answer the call, but on this night in Eden Park NZ wasjust a bit to much for the Wallabies to handle.
The game had a similar 'spear tackle' as S.F. G01 but the Ref did not call call it?
but non the less with a NZ and France win the Final is set for Sunday Oct. 23 at 21:00? which i think is 3am Central Standard Time?

Where were the refs from?
Btw, it must suck to be a South African sports fan today.
Out of the top 3 in the International Standings in Rugby and failed to qualify for the African Nations Cup in soccer.

NZ/Aussy ref was from South Africa
but the commentators did mention that the tackle was 'not above horizontal, like last nights tackle'
cause ole boy from Wales lifted that little dude up and body slammed him

The hit on Cooper was more of a dump tackle. The tackler must go to ground with the ball carrier for the tackle to be legal. Warburton's was a spear or tip tackle, since he rotated the ball carrier and dropped him.

Been looking for this thread. I don't think the welsh player deserved a red and it's ashame they had go play with 14 men. Nevertheless they missed some kicks which could have won the match, and France did what they had to do. New Zealand looked solid especially since they are missing dan Carter. The final should be another good match, hopefully the all blacks pull through.
I'll be at Finns Friday night probably for the 3rd place match between the aussies and wales. I expect australlia to get back to their "running rugby" and roll.

I'd say Wales might be kicking themselves after these past two games, but they'd probably miss.
