Good fight put up by the US. Terribly refereed. Our scrum got whupped worse than in the Ireland match. We had chances but never really cashed in. Much closer than the scoreline.

Great game last night between South Africa and Samoa.
North Harbour stadium was awesome. What a beautiful stadium, intimate 30,000 person setting.

wow. two great games today. Both #2 seeds win. Watched them in Brisbane. Wish I was still in Auckland. Gonna be on a plane during tomorrow's matches unfortunately so hopefully I can avoid spoilers and watch them later.

Just realized the NRL Grand Final is on 10/2 in Sydney. I arrive in Sydney on 10/1. May have to experience a little league action.
My son lives in Avalon- north of Sydney- watched Manly sea eagles beat one of the new zealand team in the NRL final. Good match.

over a resilient Argentinian team by a score of 33-10
