I think this is a case of McShay getting a big fat check from Manziels agent to propel his stock

I know Bortles has height and maturity, and UCF certainly had a fantastic year. However, I still don't get why so many are high on him. Based on the few UCF games I saw this year, his accuracy was questionable (especially compared to other quarterbacks in this draft), and his arm strength isn't elite level (based on what others have stated).
I'm happy for the guy. It's cool that he's gone from unheralded recruit to first-round pick... with a hottie gf. But it really seems like NFL scouts are overthinking themselves with him.

He definitely looks the part. Perhaps there's a higher ceiling for him than I'm realizing.

I know the draft show starts at 8pm, but does anyone know what time the first draft will be? I have plans tonight but am hoping to get in front on a TV by the time they actually start drafting.

7pm Central time.
First pick should be by 7:10 I would think.

He started playing organized football his senior year in HS so he's certainly had to work hard to get to the point he's at. I wouldn't take him over Watkins though
