Hit his approach on 2 about 3 inches from going in. Birdie.

I said -8 would be the winning score yesterday

I don't think it'll be that low

This course is getting harder and the weekend is gonna be fun to watch

Only 4 guys currently under par

I'm thinking 3-under right now. I am watching the Online feed and the USGA is answering questions on there now. They said they will be mowing the rough tonight. Said it grew more than they wanted because of the rain and not being able to mow. That may help things a little.

I was like when I read our replies.

The three best golfers in the world are playing together and all are 3 over after a round and a half. Would not have thought that. I figured one of them would pull their dick out. :Hibbert:

How wet is the course?

Receptive is good, but if the course is a little sloppy it will help keep scores from getting too crazy.

If it manages to stop raining the rest of the weekend, I think you will see some decent scores tomorrow followed by typical US Open scores on Sunday.

You can barely tell it rained watching on TV

Greens are still lightning fast

The rough is lush

USGA said greens are at 13 right now. If they dry out and get to 14 watch out.

I agree. I just don't think he is playing well enough to make a run right now

Eta: Donald's reaming is under way.

He is playing army golf on 4. I think he is about to tap in for 7.

Eta. It was for 6 and he made it.

I don't see this course playing easier if it's drier. The greens will be faster, but more importantly, the fairways will start running out, and balls that are stopping today will end up in the rough.
