This is why I respect you in these golf threads. We may bitch at each other but at least I am talking to someone who knows some history. Ya know if people would stop fricking with me I may just be able to spread some knowledge here................

LINK

So I was just looking at the final results on the Masters website in the link. If you scroll down to the bottom it says, "11 Masters champions were present but did not play. They will receive honoraria totaling $110,000."

So if you win the Masters you get 110,000 every year just for showing up?

Yeah, that's right before the captain found out that he had a stowaway on board and booted his arse off.

Not at all what I imagined. Kind of reminds me of the dad from Alf.

ETA -- But I can totally see that dude assfricking his sis-in-law on his apartment's stairs.

I think Phil will be top 7, but not top 5.

Yo get a pass because that's a weird prediction, you were pretty much saying he finishes 6th or 7th

Ah okay, I was just reading it wrong. But still they get 10K for just showing up?

I thought that was interesting.

yea...my original thought was that he wouldn't be in top 5, but I was like "i think top 10 is too low". I thought he'd finish around -2, but didn't know how many people were gonna jump in front of that.

Boy was I wrong
