Look at a used Crossfire...

I have one and love it. And they don't make it anymore since Mercedes sold off Chrysler, so it may start to become a collectible in the next few years.

Nice looking car but I doubt if there's one around here. Besides, I don't like buying used. In fact, I find it hysterical that I'm getting so much derision from posters who probably have used cars and also probably financed them instead of paying cash.

If I didn't have to haul a kid around, I'd drive a Miata or a Mini.

I love the feel of small cars.

Screw these yahoos, Zach.

Of course, the BMW convertible is a nice driving vehicle, as well.

I bought a LTZ71 loaded used, a guy drove it off the lot and put 5000 miles on it and he lost almost 10000 in value in 4 months. I would drive a golf cart before a miata, I am demanding you remove your Jerry Reed avatar. Thank god he just died and doesnt know you have a Miata, what would Amos Moses say? BMW are overpriced, and when that baby breaks down get ready to take out a loan, if your going german is has to be Benz.

I looked at that last time. Great car but a bit pricey.

If you post a pic of yourself and then commit suicide I promise I'll use it for at least 2 months in your honor.

Thanks for the link but I read that before I bought the Miata. You see, I buy cars based on criteria other than what kind of statement it makes on sexuality. Now, if that's the standard you use, I have no problem. Whatever floats your boat.

The link is dated April 12, 2007, so you bought your new Miata after that date and now you want to buy a new one?!? You just want to throw money away every year?

Those articles are written every year. I bought the Miata in 2004. I read an article about gayness of cars in 2002. Don't you realize that journalists keep recycling the same stories?

Edit: The article in 2002 also said Jeep Wranglers were No. 4 or 5 on the gay list. I had a Wrangler and loved it. Got rid of it because the top took too long to break down. Getting caught in the rain is a bitch with a Wrangler.

I drove a relative's new BMW 325 hard top convertible recently. I was woefully underimpressed for $50k, save your cabbage. Does Nissan still make a 350Z convertible? My wife wants an EOS, I keep giving her the stiff arm on that.

Yeah, it's Solara. So, where are the good convertibles? It's as though they're going out of style. I love driving with the top off...especially since I live in the South.

GM has a new low cost roadster line between Pontiac and Saturn.. the Sky/Solstice. I really don't like them all that much after test driving the Solstice.. they've got nothing on my Crossfire.

If money were no object, I'd look at the Cadillac XLR.. but that's an $80,000 car.

You'll be disappointed in the reliability of the VW compared to the Miata.

If you'll drive a Miata... do they still make Bug convertibles?

S2000 is where the money is, IMO.
