I hope. I am sitting on about 1500 shares at average cost of just over $6.00

Reinstating the dividend may give it a short term pop, but pretty much everyone expects it to happen, so I don’t think any growth would be long lived. This was a $10 stock even when it had a 6% yield.

Ford stock will be at $40 soon. This is easily a $200 billion company if Tesla is $550 billion.

If you ignore Ford’s debt, sure.

High price target is 16, which I'd take to the bank.

No thanks, I’m looking to take an all time price high to the bank, it may take a year or so.

I just want the 6% yield back. And if it hits it's high estimate of $16 I would get out. But where I am now, I just want the dividend back.

I'm no insider at all but I remember a CNBC guest recently giving the opinion that the automakers, particularly GM, may not reinstate dividends any time soon. And that it is intentional because a large dividend implies that they are back to being sluggish automakers instead of high growth electric vehicle tech companies.

Exactly. If I held Ford for the long term I'd rather they invest that cash in innovative products that juice margins for years to come rather than pay it out to shareholders

Ummm, what do you call the Mach-E, the F150 electric lightning they are releasing tonight, the all electric transit van, the substantial investment in Rivian, the agreement with VW, the new Bronco, or the new Maverick small truck that’s yet to be released?

Ford nailed the F150 Lightning launch, great day to be a F holder.

It's pushing $14 right now... sell? I have a load of it. Maybe just sell some? PE ratio is still relatively low compared to overall market.

How much is it in your portfolio? As a percentage.

I don’t really have any desire to time anything. I sell if the percentage gets out of hand and I buy if it’s too low. I don’t worry as much about the price of the actual security if it’s something I want to own.

We are on the same boat. I bought heavy in March 2020 along with BA. Sold the BA to buy much more Ford on house money and pay taxes.

Ford is looking good but I’m not a day trader but, making substantial moves when triggers are reached is always the smart move.

IMO.

It will be interesting to see if people will continue to pay MSRP for vehicles now instead of expecting huge discounts once the pandemic ends or at least slows down.

That’s a valid point for sure and definitely one to be considered.
It’s seemingly a much better managed company than GM. They are always two steps ahead of everyone else today.

My God the millennials are salivating over the new Bronco which until I realized it’s just a Range Rover clone thought it was an iconic dud.

Those folks do market research at a new level.
