I should add, I don’t know nearly as much about options as you. It’s something I need to devote more time to, admittedly.

At $175, I was short. Interestingly (or irrationally), I think Tesla has a big gap to fill between $201 and $233, so if it holds $201 at the open (likely opens well above) I am actually going long today.

Next week will be volatile with CPI making everyone pucker up. VIX is going to spike.

I'm down, but holding steady on TSLA put. Let's see how it shapes up next week.

Can you elaborate? You think it will go down?

Yes, I think there will be selling on the indexes and fear coming back into the market. If CPI comes in hot, it's going to be HEAVY selling.

This should take TSLA down with it if it plays out that way. TSLA is being squeezed, but as I made a bullish trade on it when it was near $100 because it was oversold, I'm doing the same here with a bearish trade because it's extremely overbought.

Yeah, I got in at $206. We’ll see.

I also bought some Google at $98 and have another order at $90. It is cheap to me. What am I missing (other than the Bard thing from yesterday)?

I’m primarily a premium seller, which is why I mentioned that (incorrect ) short call spread strategy. To make a long, sad story short, I went long shares at 194 and sold 210 calls to balance my loss on the iron condor I sold awhile back. As long as TSLA closes above 194 tomorrow, I can be content.

The more you look at various options strategies, the more I think you’ll see the benefits - but just as a part of an overall trading approach.

Good luck with those shares.

I repeatedly advised you to buy.

Wat.

Good on whoever can make a quick buck playing short term options but Tesla is an unequivocal long term hold.

It's the potential for Google to lose internet search market share due to competition from Microsoft. A huge deal if it happens.

Personally, I'd not try to catch this falling knife and wait for the dust to settle.

Not sure what you don't get.

The TSLA rally is nothing more than a dead cat bounce, which was accelerated by short covering and high amounts of calls being purchased.

It's not returning to "fair value" in this move.

Just glad I picked it for my stock for the tigerdropping stock picking contest. It wasn’t looking good initially though

That said, I think it might be getting ahead of itself at $200.
Longterm though, I think it’s inexpensive

Bro, you clearly don't know what's happening. I missed shorting the top by one day. Not bad.

Reddit is bullish on TSLA anyway.

I think we’re seeing consolidation and it’ll move even higher

I think it retraces back down more over the next few weeks.
