There's always kind of a war there right? Has it ever stopped?

Henkel- is that OTC or did you buy it through a foreign exchange?

BXS--that's a pretty serious position

EXAS--fwiw my wife is a pretty good stock picker (in healthcare too). We saw a commercial for it and she was really interested in the idea. Looked it up and it was $7-8. Thought about gambling $700 bucks and before we could, it soared. She still likes it and wants in.

T still looks somewhat attractive

EPD- looks like the analysts like it..not sure if that's good or bad. Is it similar to KMI?

Own COP...it'll come back.

PEP at 100 could be nice

I started this thread for ideas for two Coverdell accounts...so all I can do is 4K yearly. I burned one Friday on 25s of gild...hopefully the pain stops soon. Hopefully the rain does too for you guys...please send some to the west coast.

starbucks, im looking for the dividend to be 4-6 fold from here at 80 cents minimum in 10 years with the low payout ratio and moderate growth from SBUX. As I said in the other thread, SBUX and NKE imo will be the mcdonalds, coke type performers of this current generation. The dividends are very safe and the payout ratios have very far to go to be at the 80%+ threshold of the other majors today.

Naw, but of all the small oil companies I have looked at, I feel This is the one to make a "bet" on.

I'm not looking to go from $20 to $30 a share; I'm looking to go to $1 to $20, hence the term "bet".

i got a ton of cash sitting but just dipped back in to a recent IPO that looks promising long term. (BL) blackline just dropped 4k. I'm gonna hold this for the long term. i think anything in the cloud will be a future star . Next purchase will be something oil and gas after the election not sure yet though.

I like SBUX also and it's a significant part of my portfolio, but playing devil's advocate for a minute, we haven't seen their position on the dividend during a bear market. They have only been growing the dividend for 6 years. Will be paying close attention to it when the next recession occurs.
