Ironic, since getting an MBA was one of the best investments that I have made. However, my cost was very low due to company reimbursement. Also, I got more out of it due to being able to integrate each lesson with my job (night school). I would definitely recommend this route for both reasons.

I was the same way, my company paid for my degree and I thought it would be useful. Turned out I ended up leaving and what I do now doesn't really apply much of what I learned. I don't regret it, but from a pure ROI standpoint it wasn't worth it.

condo investment down in Florida
You can't give a condo away in Florida these days. I really don't know if the market will ever get back to where it was.
With my house, I plan on living here for 10 more years. I will have it mostly paid off. I will most likely just turn it into a high end rental/income producer.
I inherited a paid for home in Gainesville. I renovated it and rent it. I tried to sell it but, gave up. It too will be a money maker on the long term.
