Fidelity is really good for standard investing. I just started using their Active Trader Pro (ATP). Which is a free download. For a newb like me it's intense, but I'm trying to learn the quirks.
Fidelity phone APP is also fine for general trading and acct check ins, but not for actual day/swing fast moving trading.
With that said, ATP is being revamped and they have it in BETA testing right now, so hopefully out in the Spring. Right now it's clearly an older tech platform. Ie...crashes a bit on Apples, as not built for it.
I've talked to them and my understanding is that they will also come out with a ATP specific phone APP, which I hope is really trader friendly. I'm new to trading, and trying to learn. I do like testing new tech out though, so will be interesting and looking forward to that.
As someone else said their CS via phone is really good too. Like I never feel rushed when talking to someone, and it's more of a convo. The person you are speaking to may not know it all but they'll put you hold and find the answers for you. May just been lucky, I've only had English first Americans on my calls, so that's been a real positive.
