What is at the top of your current target list, short and long term.

I think we are going to test or surpass the lows of earlier this year. As such I am sharpening my pencil on my targets for purchase, just starting so the list is small currently. NOTE - all individual stock picks are dependent on entry price.
Long Term
Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF (ticker: VYM) or similar fund.
MGK-Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF
BHP - Good div and long term copper play
JPM - Good div and with Dimon at the head this is a safe play for banking exposure
O - Reality Income - solid consistent div
Short term
I have never been able to really pick ST beforehand. Usually just wait until everything is burning down and look for the best beatdown value.

Semis are heading for their downward cycle, but I am heavily targeting INTC due to the massive amount of tax dollars from all over the world that is about to stuff their R&D Budget.
I think it is going to take a year or so to to turn around, but as it nears a 5% yield it has become very attractive to just buy and hold.
ASO is another strong retail play, that will probably do well if we head for recession. However, they are getting closer to fairly valued.
Other than that, still waiting for tech stocks to really plummet to find realistic entry points. They are still mostly all overpriced.

INTC is interesting, didn't realize their yield is so good. May have to keep an eye here.
