A lot of rationalizing to explain away a negative economic indicator because it makes you-know-who's policies look like the pile of doo doo they are but hey, don't let me spoil the party.

But when you ask most in this situation, you find they submitted 200+ cold applications to LinkedIn

I’m in the legal market which should be seeing the most layoffs per these graphs and articles yet we can’t hire fast enough. Maybe some of these companies are just cutting back COVID over hiring and sending jobs to India. Or masking problems.

I was laid off in November. I was contacted on LinkedIn about a job last month and should find out this week after 4 interviews, just about shitting my pants in anticipation.
