Used pathfinders are about $8,000 cheaper in NY/NJ than in NC/SC

2020 pathfinders coat way less up north than they do here.

This forum showed me about caredge.com.

Great website to research on.

Was confused by since a disparity in price. Figured a few thousand. But not 8k.

Thanks for the info. Will check that out. Not sure about the 2020 models, but we really like the 2022 redesign which carried over to 2023 and 2024. Seems like a great all around SUV. We've been looking at the AWD Platinum model. For us it is edging out the competition so far.

I’m wary of northern vehicles because of salt/rust.

About 15 years ago I noticed older Honda trail bikes sold on for about $1500 here, but they were readily available in Denver in the $500 range.

A buddy of mine and I rented a uhaul, drove to Colorado, and ended up buying 14 of them. We spent about 8 grand on bikes, gas, hotels, and truck rental. We sold the bikes just under 20.

All jewelry is a scam. Most are just rocks when you think about it.

Better get a PPI to check for rust. I imagine that's the market force causing the price difference.

because they wont last as long due to the heavy salted winters.

Never buy a used car from a northern climate.

I have a 2022 pathfinder and like it alot.

That said, its one of the smaller midsize 3 row SUVs, so if you want to regularly use the 3rd row, there are far better options; pilot, grand Highlander, palisade and telluride are all larger and arguably better SUVs.

I also think the SL trim at about 42k is the best value. For the $50k that Nissan charges for a loaded platinum model, id look elsewhere.

The fear of buying a vehicle from Northern areas is real, but that said, even those areas have not been getting much, if any snow the past few years.
