Yeah did people expect prices to suddenly go back down for goods and services? Except in a deflationary environment which basically means recession that is not going to happen and it never has. Would be a horrible sign for the economy

There are ALOT of people who think a Trump Presidency will actually cause meat, milk and egg prices to go back to 2019/2020 levels. Those folks are just as economically illiterate as the AOCs and blue-haireds of the country.

What I have seen are people still claiming that inflation is out of control because prices haven’t gone back down, which is delusional and never going to happen, short of a massive depression.

How are you this stupid?

he was about to get banned on the poliboard now he hangs out with left tards here spewing nonsense.

he is as dumb as powerbottom

yeah trump was just terrible for energy prices huh?

the whole more production argument was completely debunked on the poliboard. powerbottom started that thread also. these dummies know nothing about leasing, permitting, drilling or production timelines.

over 75% is done on private and state lands. not federal.

Here's the problem. The radical left wing of the Dems who have control have been trying to STOP the permitting of lng export facilities in the US. They have also slowed construction of new refinery's as well. This is not debatable.

LINK

On his first day in office, Biden signed an Executive Order to impose a temporary moratorium on oil and gas lease activities in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, withdrew offshore areas in Arctic waters and the Bering Sea from oil and gas drilling, and revoked a key permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. In June 2021, the Biden administration went further in ANWR and suspended oil and gas leases.

In his second week in office, he signed another Order that put a “pause” on new oil and gas leasing on federal lands and offshore waters. The Biden Administration violated Congressional statute by halting all federal oil and gas lease sales – onshore and offshore – and is thereby laying the groundwork for a decline in federal production over time.

Judge Orders Biden Administration to Resume Permits for Gas Exports

President Biden had paused new natural gas export terminals to assess their effects on the climate, economy and national security. A federal judge disagreed.

quote:
Most O&G projects aren't very quick - especially talking about LNG plants or deep water platforms - the benefits we're seeing now are from work that was started 5-10 years ago. Biden's policies are hurting the next round of projects.

powerbottom is a dumbfrick commie. he does not know shite about leasing, permitting, drilling, production timelines or shite about federal or private lands or bidens comments about federal leasing.

we discussed this yesterday.

next he will say we did not have a moratorium under obama or him and biden did not shut down keystone XL!

or that dems love fossil fuels! love them so much california wants no more gasoline powered cars!

75% of oil production here comes from PRIVATE AND STATE LANDS

NOT FEDERAL

here is the whole thread.

Enlighten me. What is the inflation rate?

Less than 2% based off Fed numbers

But your retarded buddy thinks that means prices are back to normal
___________

You are the only one that is confusing inflation rate with prices. Please reply with where anyone other than you mentioned prices being back to "normal". Also, show us where the Fed has reported inflation to be less than 2%. You can't because they have not reported this. We have not seen less than 2% in quite a while. Are you sure you are posting on the right board?

Let me guess on your next post. It will be trying to make a point by using insults with false statements. Is your first name Donald?

I mean, sure, but he will do precisely nothing about spending. The idea that Trump will be dis or anti inflationary is not realistic.

I mean, we always make more, so I guess I don't see any reason to doubt he will change that trend.

This I do believe, although perhaps not for the reasons most here do.

Unlike some of you weird political addicts, I don't - and never have - counted the path of my life and its various successes and failures as functions of whoever is POTUS.

And I can say that the path of income growth, wealth and prosperity for me (and essentially everyone I know) has been a near one-way ride of ever-increasing greatness. (Even the financial crisis provided the opportunity to load up on distressed assets).

That is to say, I don't expect that to magically change starting in January no matter who is elected.

I mean, inflation has already been "beaten". We're at 2-3% presently (the Fed's long-term target which, for years, the frustrating complaint was they couldn't even get to that.) Where exactly do you think Trump is going to somehow magically take it?

No one is speaking about you specifically you dummy

Are the majority better off under the current or prior admin?

Im very well aware of that. That doesnt mean prices are down (and I know you know that despite the fact you are a moron) and since they never will be the only option is to push wages up and lower energy costs that might reduce these overinflated prices slightly

You don't know when to stop. Just talk finances without name calling. You will likely make fewer false statements if you slow down when posting. This is not the Rant.

Someone posts a truly conservative viewpoint on self reliance and
MAGA response is I need my gov't! Really sad

Stockpiling oil is really bad for an oil producing state
like LA ---- oil plummets and wells get capped
Broussard and South Lafayette closes.

Can't fix stupid
