So I wanted see what everyone thought about MO. I love the div but it has been dropping like a rock from its highs.

If you're holding it for the dividends, why worry? The dips are buying opportunities, right? Plus, if you are reinvesting dividends, you're buying more shares with the higher yield.

A long-term dividend hold, I DGAF about dips, overall. Obviously, flat is preferred or slight uptick, but you can't expect that forever, either.

MO isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

St. Louis is ok. I don’t care for the rest of the state though.

Had some, got hit with a stop loss, thinking about getting back in due to the dividend

Shouldn't you have bought PM instead of MO?

Been following both PM and MO. PM is already selling iQOS device overseas and obviously MO would be in charge domestically if it ever gets approved. With falling tobacco sales that seems to be the ticket to long term revenues, but I am beginning to wonder if people will ever fully adopt them.

I am not a smoker, so it's hard for me to follow. The dividend is tempting but with so much competition in the heated/vaping crowd I don't think I could hold long term.

For someone that has no money in MO yet but has about $2k to either play with on risky stocks or place in MO for the foreseeable future. I think I would need a little more like $10-15k to really make MO worth it.

I bought both awhile back and was 10-15% up on both until they tanked a couple months back. I originally got into them for the dividend and the thought that when weed gets legalized full scale they will be the big hitters.

What he’s saying is that $2k is play money to him and he’d want to put it on something with more risk/reward, as slow and steady gains on 2k do nothing for him.

And what I am saying is 2k or 2MM is the same return on investment by percentage if placed in the same spot
