Expensive process but not with the economies of scale they are working with. When I turned 16 (28 now), gas was 89 cents a gallon. Filling up my big arse SUV for under 20 bucks was awesome.

He didn't say it wasn't profitable, he said it was hard.

Gillette razor blades.
What the hell is up with the pricing on those?

They lost me about a year ago when I started having to shave every day (first full time job). I rock the electric now. Works great Tuesday-Friday, usually sucks on Monday after 2 days of not shaving.

There was a list that came out a year or two ago that was about the most "marked-up" prices.
Top two were:
1. Text messages at like 1900% markup
2. Movie popcorn

You're right, the stock is overpriced. The product however, is underpriced imo. $8 a month for what they offer on the basic plan is awesome (or whatever package comes on my friends' 360s and PS3s.
Overpriced: Razorblades
2011 Toyota Highlanders
Vanderbilt University

I typed 'cab fares' and then deleted because I haven't been to enough big cities lately to get a rate.

Gillette makes the best disposable razors in the world. You should buy lots of them. Even if you don't shave.

Cable, coffee, craft beer, and seafood/fish in this market.
For example, 3-years ago a 4-pack of Tenfidy Russian imperial stout was $10.49 (or ten fifty
), now that shite is $15, had to downgrade to the Lagunitas Cappucino stout as I ain't paying $15/4-pack on a regular basis. I paid $12+ for a bomber of espresso cask aged stout that would have cost $8.49 two years ago, yowser.
Under:
Can still buy excellent choice grade bulk pack ribeyes @ Costco for ~ $6.39/lb. But I consume a lot more beer than ribeyes.

I'll buy those occasionally for the sheer economic benefit. However, I have this neat buffalo horn handled razor, that takes the individual Gillette Mach3 blades. I prefer the heft and feel of that to the disposable razors and also like the fact that it fits in a stand with a shaving brush that goes with it.
I can't understand, though, why the individual Mach3 blades (sold in like 4 or 8 packs) are so much more incredibly expensive than the disposable razors they sell.
